It was identified early on that the tower tops were key considerations as they would be an important skyline feature when viewed from a distance. Special attention has been given to create a unique expression at the top of these buildings with sweeping roofs and lantern-like penthouse expressions.
The 5 storey podium provides a “ships promenade deck” of outdoor amenity spaces that combine at the east end of the residential podium with a featured amenity complex and outdoor amenity spaces.
The main body of the towers contain units designed using Bosa Properties’ innovative “Bosa Space” concept where units can be converted to different uses, so that smaller units can live like larger ones for the various functions.
Commercial space at ground level along the south arm of Quayside, forms a shopping “mews”. A proposed link to the McInnes overpass and the SkyTrain station, as well as a weather protected link to the River Market from the parking, creates a critical new connection to the waterfront, its shops and amenities.
