The site is steeply sloped with lush tropical trees and a continuous flow of spring water from the mountain.
This 292-unit, mixed-use development includes a 10-storey hotel, retail and residential complex, three 10-storey residential highrises, three 8-unit townhouse complexes, a 3-storey daycare and an underground parkade.
The design decisions incorporate the preservation of an existing knoll with a cluster of special trees, the sensitivity to the natural environment and the neighbouring national park, and a variety of building forms utilizing the steep topography and landscape Features, therefore maximizing the natural resources of the site.
Extensive use of window walls, brise-soleils, recessed balconies and green roofs create a modernistic image with 21st century sustainable design solutions. Tropical gardens, reflecting ponds and lush landscaping with stone paved pedestrian walkways integrate the whole residential community allowing its residents to appreciate the blending of architecture, landscaping and the natural environment.
Designed to LEED Silver standards, this world-class mixed-use residential development will be one of the first ‘green’ projects in Shenzhen.
